Dr. Brunson, also referred to as Dr. Margaret, speaks to us on the topic of leadership and entrepreneurship. After working 15 years in the public and private sectors, Dr. Margaret founded Illumined Leadership Solutions where she guides people to authentic and transformative leadership through coaching, consulting, facilitation, and professional speaking. During the podcast, Dr. Margaret shares the work she does in the field of leadership. Dr. Margaret discusses how she works with individuals and businesses to help develop their leadership skills and capacity. She also discusses the journey and support she received from those along her path, especially her parents. Throughout her life’s journey, she has learned the spiritual discipline of letting go and regularly yields to the power of love to cultivate authenticity, liberation, and joy. She calls it, TheLoveLife™?. Dr. Margaret has recently started her own television show where she showcases examples of the various forms of authentic love. Dr. Margaret earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master’s in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from North Carolina A&T State University. She truly believes in living a life that recognizes and exhibits her true authentic self. Dr. Margaret considers brunch a verb, well-being a priority, dance floors sacred, and music & passport stamps two of life’s greatest treasures.
